Crockpot Butter Chicken

Today, I’m making a Pinterest Curiosity recipes – Butter Chicken!  We all have thousands of recipes on our Pinterest boards for inspiration, but how many of those recipes have you actually made?  Well, I’m pulling one of those from my boards and making it!  I love Indian food, so I picked a crockpot butter chicken recipe that I pinned from ifoodreal.  Of course, I omitted a few of the ingredients based on my own flavor palate.

This recipe could not be easier!  I start off by dicing and sauteing some onions.

Then, I added in the spices, coconut milk, tomato paste and flour. This is what I love about a crockpot recipe. Just dump everything in and you can make an amazing meal!

After stirring to combine the sauce, I chopped up my chicken and put everything in the crockpot. That’s it! Everything to make an amazing dinner was done. It took me about 10 minutes and I did it right before I left for work at 6:00 am.

I had my husband turn the crockpot on at noon (he works from home) and when we got home from all our sports practices that night, the house smelled wonderful and all I had to do was warm up a couple pieces of naan and dinner was served!

Yay for Butter Chicken! <3! I actually made this with a friend yay pinterest! <3) a couple weeks ago and it was glorious! It is of my totally unbiased belief that it tastes 238472x better with naan, but if there isn't any on hand, brown rice or quinoa are my go-to's as well! :]
