My favorite summer snack is a bowl of fresh guacamole and some baked tortilla chips. The best thing about this snack is that it only contains five ingredients!
First, smash your avocados with a masher.
Then, chop your tomatoes and salt them.
Cut your lime in half.
After placing the tomatoes on top of the mashed avocados…..
Juice the lime over top of the whole thing and salt to taste.
To prepare the tortilla chips, preheat the oven to 400F. Cut the fajita size tortillas into pieces and lay on a baking sheet.
Bake until golden brown and crisp.
If you’re afraid they might burn, you can always watch them….
But, the best part is sitting down when the tortillas are nice and warm and digging in to the guacamole!!!!
